A story of a laddle and a spoon

A laddle and a spoon were created at the same time by a fine young man. He created them both so perfectly. He was content of his creation. One day, the laddle was used to scoop out lots and lots of soup from a big pot. The laddle was so happy and proud. It said to the spoon "LOok here Look here!! master used me so many times to scoop out lots of soup. Look at the soup in the bowls.. IT WAS I that transferred it there! i carried all the soup to the bowls. Did u see that spoon? I did them all". The spoon thought to itself, "I'm so small, i certainly can't carry all the soups that laddle did".

THe laddle grew prouder and prouder and told all the other utensils "Did u see the bowls of soup in the big feast last night?" "I transferred them all!"

hMm Lord, when u start using us for bigger things..please humble us for it's not US who transferred the soup but it's You who is holding on to the laddle that did all the things. We were just there to be your instrument. Nothing absolutely nothing to be proud of. Everything that we have Lord..is from You so there's NOTHING that we can boast or be proud of. Forgive us Lord when we get too carried away for we are nothing and can do nothing apart from You. Keep us humbled O Lord and equip us to do many bigger things for You and YOUR glory.
