Dear God,

Did we lose it again?
the world seems to become
a little less caring

losing sight of compassion
running out of love
drying out of faith

self centred-ness has become a trend
we're out to beat the rest
me first before all else

forgetting who we are
forgetting who You are
veiled with vain hopes

Jesus remind us again
who we are in You
Your creature created to worship You

Only You
can bring joy to this world
Only You
can bring us peace

Only You
can heal the hurting
Only You
can complete us

Dear God..
Did we lose sight of You again?

I pray that You'll bring this world
back to Your path

For You've said
nothing can separate us from Your love
Jesus, we desperately need You
