Look to the right
things there are hard to fight
look to the left
they're all the problems you have

look down
with worries and frown
your cheeks filled with tears
is there anyone who hears

those people on your left n right
can't show you the way out
places that you attend
seems like a dead end

it's a beautiful morning
the birds are calling
why can't u appreciate
things thE Father create

for you, it's just another day
full of gloom and grey
tried to stand up straight
and look ahead instead

"i'll not look to the left or right" you said
"today i'll look straight ahead"
but the path is so narrow
your hope drains back to the empty hollow

you're up to a point
where you feel you can't go on
there's someone waiting
can't you hear His voice calling?

you're too busy trying
instead of hearing His knocking
to your heart that's weak n broken
He's the Rock which couldn't be shaken

don't look to your back
where everything is lack
don't look to your left and right
where things are hard to fight

look up above
to the powerful, almighty love
never shall He forsaken you
For you are His child, it's true
